I’m crazy busy with an office move and internet connection upgrades this week so I don’t know what to expect with the schedule for my next blog. If you don’t see a blog post for a couple of days don’t worry because it only means I’m working on my improvements. My daily web updates will be normal so you don’t have to worry about that. And, in other news, I am super excited about going to Las Vegas next weekend for the Olympia. I will be hanging out with Cassandra Floyd, Rebecca Armstrong, Selma Mcpherson, Melissa Dettwiller and all of my other hot girlfriends during the weekend. Cassandra and I will be selling 8×10’s and meeting friends and fans at the Sport Europa booth on Friday and Saturday so come see us! xoxo Denise
I spent the Labor Day Weekend at this year’s Long Beach Blues Festival and I wanted to share some of that incredible experience with you. I’ve never been to Long Beach so I didn’t know what to expect but what I found was a great seaside city with incredible views from my awesome hotel room at the Maya Hotel. My eclectic, super chic bay view room looked out on the Queen Mary (a retired ocean liner that sailed the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967 and the Russian Scorpion Submarine. I went to Long Beach for the Blues and ended up enjoying great live performances by The Blind Boys of Alabama, Bettye LaVette, Johnny Winter, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Mavis Staples & Bobby Womack to name a few of what I thought where the highlights. The people, the place and the music we shared reminded me of how incredible and important it is to share in life and in the Blues. Fired Up… Denise
I’m sorry that I haven’t written much this week. I always have a hard time catching up after a long weekend. It’s sort of like dealing with the aftermath of going on vacation. First you have to get home, unpack, reorganize and then start the process of catching up. I always need a week of vacation to get over my week of vacation 🙂 Anyway, I hit the ground running on Tuesday, all the while thinking it was Monday and here we are on Friday. It was an incredible newsworthy week too– presidential speeches to children in both grade school and in congress <wow/and yikes!> And today of course marks the 9 year anniversary of 9/11. A huge turning point in our history that I am glad to know is being commemorated as a day of service as well as remembrance. Have a great weekend! Denise

I’ve been fighting a cold since Sunday that forced me to behave this week and I just don’t like it! I learned a couple of years ago that when I start to feel run down, that means it’s time to be a good girl, so that’s what I was. I spent Monday and Tuesday at home sipping tea and drinking chicken soup just so that I could feel good enough to do my member’s cam show, and boy am I glad I did. I had a great time modeling my black skin-tight mini and playing with my toy <smile>. If you missed the show you can catch it in my archive section starting this Sunday. I went to see Quentin Tarantino’s, Inglourious Basterd’s tonight and LOVED IT! The characters are quirky, the sets are visually stunning and the acting superb. I love eclectic works, and I loved the way Tarantino seems to feel right at home throwing everything but the kitchen sink into this movie.
I went to the gym to do my cardio and arm workout and was surprised and happy to run into Colette Guimond today. It’s been a long time since I’ve talked to her and several years since we release our Working Women DVD featuring Collete. It was great to see her looking so good at the gym and fun to catch up with her. She is one smart, talented, sweet and hot fbb. xoxo Denise
