Glorious Basterds

I went to see Quentin Tarantino’s,  Inglourious Basterd’s tonight and LOVED IT! The characters are quirky, the sets are visually stunning and the acting superb. I love eclectic works, and I loved the way Tarantino seems to feel right at home throwing everything but the kitchen sink into this movie.

It was a great movie and different than I expected. The bar scene in the basement was my favorite.

I saw it & I was disappointed..IMHO, the movie is a victim of too much media hype…

PERSONALLY speaking, I thought both “Pulp Fiction” & “Kill Bill” were better….

Danny: I loved the bar scene as well. And what about the opening scene and the “why nobody likes a rat analogy”? I thought that was brilliant. I don’t think the film was flawless but I did enjoy the ride and I especially love it when a director and actors take chances.

Scorpio: My date felt the same way you did about the movie. I really liked the first Kill Bill, I enjoyed Grind House but didnt really care for Pulp Fiction. The cool thing is that Tarantino give’s you something to chew on (metaphorically speaking of course).
