I’m thinking maybe I should start a new handywoman business. Lord knows there’s no shortage of maintenance projects that need to be done! I bet you all have at least 10 items on your to do list!
About last nights live cam test, it was not flawless, BUT IT WAS SUCCESSFUL!
We got a solid 30 plus minute broadcast with minor issues that need to be looked into further. Following our test I reported my findings to my tech and while I’m now waiting to get feedback from him, I was able to review the archive this morning. Stay tuned for my next update. I am finally feeling a little more confident about the cam and truly needed this win. Thank you for joining me, thank you for your feed back and thank you for your patience as we work through fixing the bugs.

I got a new video cam and ran a bunch of tests that failed, failed, failed and failed again. BOOOOOOOOO!
Yes I am disappointed and I am returning yet another web camera I bought to see if I could find a better solution to broadcasting my show. That said, I am not giving up on finding a better solution. I know all about fighting my way through difficult and challenging technical problems because I have been in business for over 25 years. Please check the member live cam page for a new poll I am posting today. I need your feedback on next steps. In the meantime I continue to ferret out my next best option and I will be posting the live cam show replacement video tonight. Thanks for hanging in there with me. xoxo D
I’m ready to do a second members live cam test, not because I found the problem and solved it, but because I miss you and I’m stubborn <smile>. Also, I think the best next step forward is another live beta test so that I can keep pressing different buttons to see if we can make this baby work for us.
That said, if you can and would like to join me this Friday evening (5/27 at 8:45pm Et / 5:45pm Pt) that would be great. Once again, it will be helpful to know what you are seeing and hearing in real time. And, if you can’t join, that’s okay too, as I will review the broadcast for quality also!
Thank you and hope to see you Friday. xo D
Thank you to everyone who joined me for this weeks live cam testing. It was good to be able to test a few cameras with some success and to be able to discuss and explain some of the issues we are still trouble shooting with you. Getting real time feedback from you was both helpful and fun – thank you for that! As I mentioned, It’s hard to pin down what is causing the glitch because there are so many variables involved. I have to be patient and persistent in trying to solve the issue and so I am. I must admit that I do get frustrated and sometimes the challenges do get me down. That said, I have been here many times before and it is all part of being a small business owner in a fast passed and ever changing technological world. Please stay tuned for my next update and I hope you will join me for my next test. More updates as soon as I hear back from my programmer. Love Denise
I’m ready to do a members live cam test and even thought we are still experiencing some glitching, I think the best next step forward is a live beta test. So if you can and would like to join me tomorrow evening ( Wednesday 5/18 at 8:30pm Et / 5:30pm Pt) that would be great. It will be helpful to know what you are seeing and hearing in real time. And, If you can’t join, that’s okay as I will review the broadcast for quality also!
Thank you and hope to see you soon!. xo D
A quick update for members on the cam work. We are continuing to work on determining the problem and have made some progress in the last day. I had a few successful tests yesterday and both failures and successes during todays testing. I wasn’t happy to have issues again today but we have made progress! And as the old saying goes, “two steps forward and one step backward”. Anyway, following weeks of no progress, I am happy to have a few successful tests! Stay tuned as I hope to be able to schedule a BETA test in the next few days and maybe you can help me with the testing! Thank you for your patience and please stay tuned. xo D
“When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this – you haven’t.” ― Thomas Edison
The exhaustive work of finding a real solution continues. Please stay tuned as I am working on finding the fix. Thank you! xo

I am thankful for the encouragement Thomas Edison left behind. I am also frustrated by the slow progress we’ve made in fixing the cam. That said, the work continues and as soon as we are good to go live, I will do a dance and it will be live and in front of my members.
I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to update you with a “all systems go” post soon. Thanks for your patience. New updates continues as usual.
Love Denise
