Day 14 of social distancing. We are trying to do our part to help our local community and society at large, as well as help all of those on the front lines who are tackling this virus by working in all of the places we need them to. And, I wonder how you are all doing at this time and what it’s like for you and your families. Watching the news and seeing reports from around the world made me want to reach out to you. Thank you to those who chatted with me today and for sharing what you are doing, feeling and seeing in your local communities and at home. Hearing from you all gives me a better understand of the wide reaching impacts of the Covid 19 virus. And, although we are all social distancing, we can do great things together and while we stay apart. The very best part of today’s talk was you. Wishing you & yours good health #lovedrop in your corner of the world. Denise

Shit Happens...

Last week a friend told me Mercury was no longer in retrograde but my computer didn’t get the message. I am sorry to report that last weeks live cam show did not archive properly and I am currently working with my tech person to be sure that the next show archive does work. I have been experiencing intermittent freezing throughout the show so I will try moving back into the office for my next cam show to see if that helps. Please stay tuned for updates on the date for our next live member cam show. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding. I will also be re-shooting the best parts of this show for you.

Home gym workouts

Cleaning and dusting off home gym equipment so that if I need to stay home I can still get my workouts in. They say “Necessity is the mother of invention” and I know that working out is great for my body and my mental health. In fact I find I’m more creative in my thinking after a workout, so I’m ready to modify my training if necessary, and I will share what I’m doing with you on my YouTube channel. The truth is we lift weights and we lift each other too. Wishing you and yours good health. xo Denise

Setting up my home gym

The Coronavirus (COVID 19) and public health reports recommending social distancing to help control possible exposure, coupled with possible gym closure inspired me to go into my garage and set up my home gym. I was scheduled to do my shoulder workout but instead I wanted to access my workout equipment and think about what kinds of exercises I could do at home. EVERYTHING needed to be cleaned and dusted off (smile). So it turns out that I have two benches, one is a flat bench and one is a bench I can use in a variety of positions for incline movements. I have 4 sets of dumbbells in various poundage’s and a small set of kettle bells. I also have an Olympic bar with weights for barbell work and I have a medicine ball, bands and some ankle weights to help meet most of my strength training needs. I’m happy that I have all of this equipment but if you don’t have all of this stuff you can still find great ways to strength train at home and that’s what I’m really starting to think about now and look forward to sharing with you. During this live broadcast it was fun to talk to you about training and to answer some of your questions related to food and things like protein powder and as promised I am including links to the protein power I am using along with the equipment I have at home. Thank you all for joining me on my live broadcasts. Please remember to subscribe to my channel and ring the bell for notifications so that you know when I go live. xo Denise
