I served 9 years in the USAF. I have served in Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, in Afghanistan and have been to many other places in that time. My favorite place was Okinawa, Japan where I lived for 3 years and loved every day there. I would still be serving our country but my family comes first to me. Once, my daughter was born I decided I wanted her to have her Daddy around all the time and never be away for months at a time. Thank you Denise for recognizing what we all do and did for this great country!
