The last week was super busy with travel and some spring cleaning, but I also took the time to see some beautiful places and visit with wonderful friends. I debated about posting about this scary, humbling, humiliating, anxiety producing experience and here I am. Post colonoscopy screening, I was still feeling a little high from the anesthesia in this picture. WHAT A STRANGE 🙈🤦🏻♀️CRAPPY AND IMPORTANT TEST TO TAKE.
I went in telling myself it’s been 50 years of eating and digesting OMG!!! You eat and live consciously, I assured ,myself, but I also know that early screening is the key to preventing bad health diagnoses and so here I am. I’m normal, the news is good and the worst part was the prep and anxiety. I got good care, I am grateful and I will go back for another screening as prescribed. I hope by sharing this humbling experience I might encourage you all to take care on the daily and to get your check ups done. I know they can be scary as fuck, but you can handle it and you are worth it.
