Thank you to everyone who was able to chat with me on Friday night. I wanted to bring you up to date on my progress with the technical stuff and was also happy to just hang out and chat with you. I truly appreciate our conversations and getting to know my members better is fun. Anyway, after our discussion, I was happy to run the Saturday live cam test. I had no real expectations because I can’t seem to pinpoint why the cam works sometimes and then quits. We all agreed it would be interesting to test a day/time that is probably not a busy internet time and we had a fairly successful cam on Saturday. You will notice that the Saturday cam archive is live in the members area and you can watch it now. I will be doing my next live happy hour this coming Saturday again and until I can get a solution from the technical experts. Stay tuned for more updates as I will post added information as it comes available.

I’m doing a live text chat tonight in my member cam room so that I can share an update with you on the live cam upgrade I’m working on. I won’t be doing a live video broadcast because we still need to correct the system issues, but I do want to bring you up to date on what is going on. I have been in communication with my programmer and we are continuing our work on the cam module. I still don’t have any updates yet as we are bringing in someone else to look into the issues. I am thinking about running a live cam test early in the day on Saturday and will post those details tomorrow. I promise you that we are working on it all. I waited until the very last minutes to see if I was going to be able to do our live cam happy hour tonight and unfortunately I still don’t have any new updates from my programmer. That means I won’t be doing a live member cam show tonight, BUT I AM WORKING ON IT! Right now I am waiting to hear new details about a new upgrade to my current platform. I don’t have all of the information I need but it’s all in the works. I hope to be able to provide additional information on what you can expect for our next live cam show really soon. I will also continue to shoot replacement live cam shows (although it’s way more fun when I can talk to you live). Please stay tuned. I will post my next test to the schedule for anyone who can join me for that. Your feedback is super helpful to me. And, please be aware that my next test will take place during the week and may be earlier in the day. Either way I will let you know, as testing is always a part of the process of setting up a new system and upgrades. I apologize for the inconvenience and miss hanging out with you on cam. It’s almost Friday and I’m determined to do another test tomorrow night. I have no idea if the cam will work and I am not going to bet on it, except to say that I want to test the camera that worked for me once before. Happy 2023 friends! The new year came in pretty much the same as the old year went out. I’m feeling a little run down because I am burning the candle on all ends, but all in all I am doing okay. I’m happy to report that I was able to do my fundraising for St Jude again in 2022 and even though it was a much smaller fundraiser for me, I just couldn’t let the year go by without keeping my promise to St Jude. Thanks a million for helping me keep this promise. Your words of encouragement and support are everything! Also, the hurricane damage clean up and repairs are far from complete, but we push forward each day. I’ve been working non-stop and I am planning, and prepping lot’s of new posts in addition to testing the live cam module. For those of you who have emailed or contacted me and haven’t heard back, please know that I promise to catch up on my mail really soon; At the moment I am working testing the live module and hope to get back on my normal weekly cam schedule soon. I hope you are all having a nice holiday week and that you are not being negatively affected by the frigid cold that has affected so much of the country this last week. The holidays have put repairs on hold and for the time being I am working on scheduling my cam tech support for the new year. I will be testing the live cam module next week and hope to have an update to our live cam show schedule soon. Stay tuned and Happy Holidays.
