It’s almost Friday and I’m determined to do another test tomorrow night. I have no idea if the cam will work and I am not going to bet on it, except to say that I want to test the camera that worked for me once before. Please join me for another Happy Hour test tomorrow if you can. Friday 01/20/23 at 8:30pm ET
Thank you for joining me for Friday nights live cam test. The diagnostic work will continue as I push forward to find a solution to whatever is causing the broadcast issues. I appreciate you taking the time to join me and to share your feedback. It’s helpful to know what you are seeing and hearing. I have already submitted a report to my programmer and as I mentioned, I will be posting a pre-recorded show in place of the missing live cam archive. Love, Love and Super Thanks for your patience, your continued support and your love. I will keep pushing forward.
Love to you, Denise
I’m going to do a live cam broadcast test tomorrow night. Friday 1/6/2023 at 8:30pm Eastern time to see if this fucker is going to work for us. No promises, except that I will be there from 8:30 to 9pm and if you can join me it would be great to get your feedback. Thank you! xo Denise
Happy 2023 friends! The new year came in pretty much the same as the old year went out. I’m feeling a little run down because I am burning the candle on all ends, but all in all I am doing okay. I’m happy to report that I was able to do my fundraising for St Jude again in 2022 and even though it was a much smaller fundraiser for me, I just couldn’t let the year go by without keeping my promise to St Jude. Thanks a million for helping me keep this promise. Your words of encouragement and support are everything! Also, the hurricane damage clean up and repairs are far from complete, but we push forward each day. I’ve been working non-stop and I am planning, and prepping lot’s of new posts in addition to testing the live cam module. For those of you who have emailed or contacted me and haven’t heard back, please know that I promise to catch up on my mail really soon; At the moment I am working testing the live module and hope to get back on my normal weekly cam schedule soon. Stay tune and Happy New Year to you and yours. xoxo Denise
I hope you are all having a nice holiday week and that you are not being negatively affected by the frigid cold that has affected so much of the country this last week. The holidays have put repairs on hold and for the time being I am working on scheduling my cam tech support for the new year. I will be testing the live cam module next week and hope to have an update to our live cam show schedule soon. Stay tuned and Happy Holidays. I am looking forward to catching up with you all in the new year. Love D
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. I hope that you, your family and surrounding community are secure, safe and warm this weekend. I will be focused on spending time with my immediate family and doing some work too. Most of all, I want to take time to reflect on the blessings and put less time into thinking about all of the stuff that needs to get fixed or done. Thank you for being a part of my blessings each day and each year. Merry Christmas. Love & Gratitude Denise
I am still working on getting my live cam tested so that I can get back to my normally scheduled programming, but the truth is that the holiday’s are slowing things done a lot. This is true for everything related to all repairs around me. For that reason I must postpone our live cam show. My goal is to be able to do a show next week, please put a good word in for me with Santa and stay tuned to my updates. My normal video and photo posts will continue to be on schedule. I apologize for the inconvenience. Love and gratitude xo D
The upgrade and cam diagnostic work continues! And though I am disappointed that we are not ready to give the cam a go for tonight, I am working hard to be ready soon! In the meantime I have a few ideas up my sleeve and hope to have a cam next week and before Christmas. I miss you all, and Happy Hour just isn’t the same without you. Progress takes patience and persistence and its been hard for me this go round, but I will do my best to stay on it. STAY PUMPED AND STAY TUNED!
Love Always, Denise
This is me. I paddle like hell underneath my calm surface and it’s all okay. I’m sure many of you feel the same way from time to time. Things are hectic around me and the holidays can add an additional amount of stress. I’m reminding myself to focus on what matters most. So to anyone who needs to hear it, hang in there. Remember that you are a miracle and that you have the power to share the light you carry. A kind word and a warm smile can change the course of a persons day, especially your own. #lovedrop Denise
And great progress requires many hands too. I have spent countless hours, days and weeks working on a myriad of things related to hurricane Ian recovery and repairs, and we still have so much more to deal with and do. It’s impossible to explain how many little pieces are involved in getting things fixed and right again. But this is not a post about how exhausting so much of this time has been, but, rather this is a post about how grateful I am for the good stuff I’ve seen. I’m grateful for all of the work people are doing each day to help our communities rebuild. It’s not hard to see that people care, and even in their own exhaustion and frustrations, I recognize that given an opportunity to share a kind word and a helping hand, someone always steps up. These are the moments that lift my soul and my imagination. And these are the moments that remind me that all good things are possible.
