Getting the stress out today. My workouts help me deal with life’s ups and downs and this is part of why I train and why I promote strength training as I do. The benefits are many and way beyond what we see. This video shows me doing hammer curls with flexion at the top and bottom of the movement followed by flexing after the set.

It’s so easy to skip my ab workout so I kept myself in check by flexing for my selfie. Note to self: GRRRRRR stay strong in your one day at a time training goals & convictions.
Sometimes you just feel like a mess, even a TRAINWRECK – and that’s okay because when you are working on improving yourself it’s going to get messy! Let the sweaty, stinky, workout mess begin and then take a nice shower, feed your body well, rest, recover and do it all again the next day. Try to be patient and always persistent. Each day is it’s own workout win and consistency is the name of the game. As a life long advocate and promoter of strength training it is with great joy that I get to wish one of my dearest friends from the bodybuilding world a Happy 89th Birthday. I have had the great privilege to know Albert the bodybuilding legend and the great man. He works out at Gold Gym 5-6 times a week and he spends his time training others on the same training principles that keep him going strong. This is what I want to be doing when I am his age.
