I love shooting in the desert and I have always found that the heat of the sun and the hot dry breeze coming from a desert mountain surrounding always holds a certain allure for me. There is something so liberating about being out in nature and for me the mix of heat, wind and sun are an irresistible invitation to be the wild and free part of me. Wow, this has been one hell of a week. Loaded with technical issues and frustrating problems I’m glad the week is over, even though I will spend some of the weekend working. I’m thinking a hot shower and a glass of wine is in order. TGIF. xoxo Denise

Like so many people, I’ve spent quite a bit of time this weekend and today watching the events surrounding the presidential inauguration. It was a pleasure to listen to Barack talk about the reality of the hardships we face as a nation in a manner that would call upon our collective courage and unity, so that we could face our problems as a real community. Welcome Mr. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

I just finished making my travel plans for this years Arnold Classic Fitness Weekend in Columbus, Ohio on March 6-8th. This event is always one of the most exciting and inspiring events of the year for me. No matter what sport you fancy, this is the ultimate in fitness and athletic pursuits of all forms and disciplines. For all of my long time friends and those I haven’t met yet, I will be hanging out at the Bulk Nutrition Booth working hard to be on my very best behavior 😉 So mark your calendars, make your plans and don’t forget your camera. Today was another challenging day of hurdles as I diligently work on getting my site loaded with more goodies for you. I just got back home from my Thanksgiving holiday camping trip. I had a great time and I look forward to sharing some fun details and photos on my Thanksgiving adventure with you later this week. In the mean time, I got home to find out that my car wouldn’t start, so my first order of business tomorrow is to figure out whats going on with my Mustang. Oh well, shit happens, right?! xoxo Denise
