I’m back in the gym weight training full time and doing my daily cardio workouts. Mixing it up with different workouts keeps me stimulated and growing, but in order to continue my running I have to pick a new challenge. I am still not a fan of the running and for those who feel the same way I do, I recommend setting short term goals like a mud run you can do with friends and family and HAVE FUN! Talking about being healthy is not sexy, but working out is.  And, I will always be your cheerleader! In order to keep myself running as I lead up to my next St Jude Fund Raiser later this year, I will be training for the Gladiator Rock’n Run on June 8th. Join me for the health of it!

I’m getting a bit nostalgic about my dark bush. During the hot summer months it might feel like too much for me, but it’s still winter around here and my large pussy lips can use a little extra coverage to help me stay warm, so I’m letting my bush grow back out for now. I’m starting to get my house and office back in order and tomorrow my first photo report from this years Arnold Sports Festival 2013 will post to my members area. I posted a hand full of fun pictures from the Muscle Pinups booth to the blog and the full photo report will be posted in my members area. For those of you who made it to Columbus, Ohio you know how amazing it was. The event is so big and involves so many events that you probably couldn’t take it all in, so the photo reports are a fun way to experience different aspects of the weekend. It’s also true that it’s impossible for me to document the entire event, but we did have fun capturing some of the fun people who came to see me at the booth. I meet so many people who tell me that I inspire them and the truth is, they inspire me just as much. I always walk away from the Arnold Sports Festival with experiences and connections with new people that are, well, pure magic. In this photo I am standing with a long time Arnold weekend friend named Steven Deel. This photo was taken at the 2012 Arnold weekend and Steven was showing me his new tattoo. It turns out, that Steven carries me around on his leg as one of his mermaids. Only at the Arnold Sports Festival, with its passionate, creative, inspired and wonderfully expressive participants would you see something like this. I hope to see you there next year.

We made it into Hawaii just in time to run the very last wave of the Warrior Dash. After 6 hours in the air, we picked up our car, check into the resort and changed into our sneakers and running clothes. It was a mad dash to the event site, and we were the very last of the herd making the final run for St Jude. Hawaii was a gorgeous setting for the event, and the people couldn’t be friendlier, especially the St Jude staff. After packing the day before, flying the morning of, and running the 3.1 mile obstacle course I was dead! Every muscle in my body ached –  but I was really happy I did it. I can’t wait to put together my 2013 Missfits 4 Life, St Jude Warrior team.  Mahalo xoxo Denise
