OK, so I’m back to bragging again. But honestly, that just can’t be helped because I’ve spent the last 3 days training a lady that is, simply put, a real inspiration. Maureen Clary is a champion power lifter from South Carolina and a new national level female bodybuilder getting ready for this year’s Nationals in Miami, Florida. Overcoming the challenges of double hip surgery that required her to re-learn how to walk, Maureen has spent the last week with me turning heads a the Hollywood Golds. Ambition, discipline, determination and a body that just won’t stop– now that’s what I call inspiring! xoxo Denise

It took me a minute but I finally got my Venice workout at Muscle Beach pictures ready to post. The people, the weather and knowing that Icons like Governor Arnold, Franco Columbu and others once trained here made it a workout to remember. Denise

I trained at the famous muscle beach in Venice, CA today. Even though I’d been to Venice a couple of times before, today was the first time I’d actually worked out there. Venice was loaded with thousands of some of the most colorful people in the world. It was fun to be a part of the energy and to add my personal color to the mix…and the bicep pump wasnt bad either 😉 Denise

The Arnold’s Weekend was full of athletes and champions from all over the world and from many different sports. At 125 lbs, Anton is a record holding bench press champion who was defending his 410 plus bench press from last year. In this picture he was collecting good luck kisses for his upcoming meet 🙂

I’m finally back in the office after being on the road for over 2 weeks. My in-box is loaded with messages and a stack of things to do but I love it all! After my week of shooting and the successful cam show tests I ran during the shoots (wow was that fun) and the Arnold’s Fitness Weekend I am pumped to get back to my projects. First and foremost, I got back into the gym today for a heart pounding workout. Second, I’ve pulled just a small sampling of images from the Awesome Arnold’s Expo. that I hope you will enjoy. It’s Sunday morning in Columbus, Ohio and the weather all weekend long has been almost as warm as the people in this city. The welcome to Columbus is always like coming home for the holidays and visiting with friends you love. I have lots of pictures to share on the weekend events and will work to get those posted as soon as I can, but for now I will report that on the women’s competition side of things, Iris Kyle won the Ms. International, Debi Laszewski looked amazing and was second and Yaxeni was third. Dear diary, I’m back into serious training as I prep for several up coming shoots. I’m very excited about some great projects I have coming up including a shoot I’m doing for Playboy TV (stay tuned for more details on that soon). I am also currently in the planning stages of our next Muscle Elegance Magazine shot <yum>. So far our list of upcoming models will include the beautiful Kim Birtch, Melody Spetko, Amber Deluca, Nuriey Sener and Melissa Dettwiller. And, thats just a quick run down of the power we will be packing. Tomorrows another early day of training and project planning, so I’m off to bed to get my beauty sleep. xoxo Denise

After taking some time off to take care of business and have some fun (of course), I went back to the gym this week. It felt sooo good to get back into the gym and push the weights around, stretch my body and drip with sweat. Now all I need is a hot tub to soak my sore muscles and a strong set of well oiled, well trained hands <smile>.
