HD video explored…

I have two new HD cameras. One is a Lumix camera that shoots HD video files that look fantastic by the way. But, I don’t know how to edit my new HD files yet. And the other is a new HD camcorder, the Panasonic HPX 170. I have only just started the testing process of using these cameras and love what I see so far. Anyone interested in tutoring me or sending suggestions on either of these, I’d love to hear from you. I have so many things I want to shoot, I can hardly contain myself.
Speaking of shooting, a friend of mine shot these babies and told me they reminded him of me. Do you see a resemblance?

Glad to see you’re enjoying your HD toys…..An HD camcorder is on my “list” of things to get too 🙂

Now that I’ve got a DSLR (expensive hobby this photography stuff) (grin), wouldn’t it be “interesting” if you could use an HD camcorder to film a video equivalent of a DSLR HDR image?

I’m pretty handy with HD video equipment. I’d be glad to lend a hand.

    Hello blacknblue:
What kind of camera have you used? I’ve been reviewing some of the post production details pertaining to using HD content for the net. 🙂

    Hey Denise,

I’ve used primarily the JVC Everio GZ-HM200, and have spent some time with the Canon Vixia HF20. Both great cameras for their price range. Although I’ve never used any Panasonic cams, I do know people who use them regularly. Any questions you have about HD filming in particular?

Blacknblue: You have no idea how much I appreciate knowing that I have an opinion source in you. I was involved in another Panasonic HD test shoot this weekend. My crazy schedule and overloaded projects to do lists dont allow me to focus on the camera just yet but it is on my agenda and I will take you up on your query offer 🙂 xoxo Denise

That’s cool. Just hit me up through email or AIM when you get started. I personally can’t wait to see what you and your curves in HD.
