“I promised Teddy…”

Ted Kennedy on Newsweek …can we promise ourselves that we will work and push to find a way to provide a reasonable amount of health care and medical insurance to every American man, woman and child? Health care and insurance reform can be done. I hope we have the courage to make the necessary changes senator Edward Kennedy spent his life working towards. Thank you for your service Teddy. Rest in peace.

I’ve never been a big fan of the Kennedys, but – having said that – I’m not some partisan idiot who’s going to detract from Senator Kennedy’s passing.

Denise, I’ve read your comments from afar for a long time and I have to say that you have a beautiful way with words.

Funny thing…I once thought you were just some heavily-muscled gal with a special feature between your legs.

I couldn’t have been more wrong about you.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and for taking the time to post your thoughts. I am flattered and humbled by what you wrote. I think we all have the ability to contribute great things, both small and big, and although I wasn’t a big Kennedy fan either, I was educated more yesterday about his life, his work and his contributions. In the end I found myself inspired and felt the need to voice my opinion that we can do better. And my wish that people would work harder to make that happen. At the moment I’m smiling, and it’s for you.

It’s overcast and gray where I am this morning (Maryland), but just the thought of your radiant smile really brightened my day.

Thank you kindly, Denise, and have a terrific weekend wherever you are.
