I’ve learned over the years that part of my success comes from finding that something special that inspires me in some way. This weekend I was able to tap into the Art of the Masters as my Muse. A Laguna Beach tradition for over 75 years, The Pageant Of The Masters is a celebration of tableaux vivants – “Living Pictures.”  For over 75 years the organizers of the Pageant have literally brought master works of art to life. Imagine seeing Leonardo da Vinci’s fresco of “The Last Supper” reproduced on a stage with Jesus Christ and each of his disciples presented in front of you. Each performer a part of the fresco in a way that would allow you to see the scene three- dimensionally and yet challenges your ability to make out the actual performer in the work. The pageant included reproductions of fine art that included: sculptures, paintings, statues, lithographs, jewelry and movie posters.  Exquisite, inanimate objects of art brought to life by people with the use of performers, artists, costumes, make up, lighting and a fantastic orchestra.  Twenty replicas including the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dali, Claude Monet, Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, just to name a few… I was swept away. I could go on and on about this show but what I want to do is share the experience and encourage you to find your muse. Over the weekend I got to visit with my girl Cassandra Floyd. She was visiting from NY for the weekend so we got together for dinner, a glass of wine and lots of laughs. OK, so I’m back to bragging again. But honestly, that just can’t be helped because I’ve spent the last 3 days training a lady that is, simply put, a real inspiration. Maureen Clary is a champion power lifter from South Carolina and a new national level female bodybuilder getting ready for this year’s Nationals in Miami, Florida. Overcoming the challenges of double hip surgery that required her to re-learn how to walk, Maureen has spent the last week with me turning heads a the Hollywood Golds. Ambition, discipline, determination and a body that just won’t stop– now that’s what I call inspiring! xoxo Denise

Im three weeks away from my next hot shoot in Vegas and I can’t wait to see my buddies, Angie, Melissa, Roxie, Nikki and Wanda to name a few. In other motivational news, I just ran into Rebbecca Armstrong and she looks fantastic as she plans her attack for her next competition. Wish you were me? 🙂

It’s been a crazy week of a lot of hard work at the office and at the gym as I prepare for an upcoming shoot in Las Vegas. The best part of my week was definitely my live cam show. It was my first live cam show from the shower and so much fun that I think I will do more of my shows that way.
