We found an injured black crow in the yard this morning. Poor baby was trying to find shelter and was clearly having a problem with a wing so we picked it up, boxed it and delivered it to the local animal shelter where they said it looked like the bird might be just fine with some rehab. Filled with cats and dogs, this beautiful black bird was an unusual guest and magnificent to see up close. Tweet tweet 🙂

I did it, I created my twitter account and posted my very first tweet this weekend. Exciting huh? Not really. I’ve heard so many people complain about the silly stuff people twitter about, that I wonder what I should share. Hmmm, maybe I should tweet that I am about to take a long hot, steam filled shower. Wow, I can hardly believe it. The House actually passed a health care reform bill. What a fantastic step forward. There is now hope for a better health care system in America. Now all we need is some stronger campaign finance reform so that we don’t have to worry about whether or not our elected officials are making decisions and passing legislation based on financially based alliances with huge corporate interests. Congratulations to all of the people that have worked so hard on making this happen, including the millions of Americans who have made their voices heard.  Wishing you and yours the wealth that is health.  Denise

Woo hoo the Yankees win! The Phillie’s are a great team and they made the series an interesting contest for sure, but I am happy that the Yankees found their way to their 27th win. For the record, my vote for the games MVP is Hideki Matsui. Now I have to find some pin strips 🙂  xoxo Denise
