On the first day of my 51st year I discovered this quote and I decided that I would gift myself a few hours at the beach on my birthday. I was hoping to see my twin sister for dinner but that did not work out for us this year. Not to worry because we will see each other this weekend 🙂
After my workout, I packed a beach bag and drove to the beach where I put my feet in the sand and I let the wind play with my hair. My birthday was a very quiet day filled with nature and a lot of reflection. I spent the day thinking about all of the great people who have impacted my life in big and small ways, and I spent hours thinking about everything that I am grateful for. I saw a dolphin playing in the surf and I was greeted by a friendly turtle. I got rained on while I was at the beach and it was exactly what I needed. I am spending this week taking care of lots of STUFF and looking forward to seeing my twin sister this weekend for our twins family birthday party. Thank you to everyone for sending me Happy Birthday wishes, my members are part of what makes me smile each week and I love and appreciate you all. I hope you will join me for a belated Birthday cam celebration next week. And please remember to allow the earth to delight in the feel of your bare feet, the winds play with your hair and the sun shine on your face.
