I’ve talked a lot about how much I love getting my massages and how having someone walk all over me feels so good I can’t live without it. My Thai Swiss massage tonight left me feeling like a tenderized piece of meat and even though there are some tense, deep breathing moments I have to get through, I always feel so much better afterwards. Training my body and flexing and tightening my muscles as I’ve done for so many years as a professional athlete means I really need to work on balancing things out. Stretching and massage therapy help me deal with scar tissue from training and helps to improve my flexibility as well as adding benefits to my future weight training workouts and pumps. Here are a few of the positions I find myself in during my massage therapy sessions. Tonight, I left the place feeling relaxed, with tingly skin that had the subtle smell of mint. It made me think of those York Peppermint Patty commercials!
