I’m such a big fan of Halloween that this year I found myself looking for more reasons to dress up. Fall is always an invigorating time of year. The cooler temperatures, the brilliant colors, football and the world series add to the excitement and energy. I just loved watching so many people dressing up and being in California means that there is another reason to celebrate. All saints day also known as Dias De Los Muertos is a Mexican holiday that celebrates and remembers loved ones who have passed away. The custom at first glance is surprising with it’s skeleton dolls and macabre imagery, but when you think about it, it’s really a wonderful thing to set time aside to remember and celebrate the people you’ve know and loved.
