Hi, Denise –
Just wondering…is there ONE best song you dance to?
The reason I ask – and I admit this is very odd – is that I saw your “Welcome to my blog!” intro and right away thought of that Alice Cooper song, “Welcome To My Nightmare” (album of the same name).
I then conjured up an image of you doing a sexy, slinky dance in a smokey backroom while swaying and undulating your hips to the beat of this great song. (Hey, that sounded pretty good, didn’t it?)
Can’t wait to hear your articulate comments.
Thanks,
-Mike

Oh, well –
Guess impertinent questions don’t matter unless you’re a paying member.
Kinda sorta makes sense.

Au contraire I look forward to responding to this fun post, however, I don’t want to answer it without posting a couple of shots from the weekend. I’m a bit behind and need to dig those pictures out . I hope you stay tuned xoxo Denise

Mike: It’s been a very long time since I’ve listened to “Welcome to My Nightmare” and I have to say that I really enjoyed listening to the music. It immediately put me into the head space you wrote about. I have very eclectic taste in pretty much everything and especially in music. I was raised with Latin salsa music, soul, R&B, pop and some rock. As a dance major in school I also enjoyed modern jazz. It wasn’t until I was in my teens that I really got into Rock and Blues. I’m currently enjoying the sexy, gritty, rock and blues sounds of three bands I saw at Coachella including The Black Keys “I got mine”, The Kings of Leon “Sex on fire” and Alberta Cross “The thief and the Heartbreaker”. If you go to http://www.imeem.com you can check out each of the artists and the songs I mentioned here (assuming of course you don’t already know them). In closing, I’m thinking I need to do a live cam show and a video scene in a smoky back room to one of these songs 😉
xoxo
Denise
