Today was another challenging day of hurdles as I diligently work on getting my site loaded with more goodies for you. I am super excited about the things I have planned and although things always seem to take longer then I want them to, I intend to keep plowing forward. After all I am a bull. I spent the day shopping at the LA fashion district today. I just love shopping with my lover and picking out new clothes to model for him in the dressing room. Its the best and most fun way to shop. The hot little girl that was helping me had fun watching me hand over all of the things I wanted so that he could buy them for me, after all, he gets to enjoy them too, right!Β  πŸ™‚ Happy Weekend. xoxo Denise

Monday was my first day back home and my first day back in the gym. And, all though it feels really good to be training again, the stress of flying and last weeks events turned my traps into tight hard knots. So this lady started her day with a walk, followed by a hot shower a 90 minute massage and a very happy ending πŸ™‚Β  xoxo Denise

Doubt the Movie Bolt Movie Poster It’s been a while since I played movie critic but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been to the theaters. Over the holiday’s I got to see Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman in Doubt, a movie about a Catholic priest a nun and a young boy. It’s a movie that plays like a fascinating courtroom drama loaded with circumstantial evidence, or is it? I loved the movie and was blown away by Meryl Streep’s performance. This is a must see in my humble opinion πŸ™‚Β  Oh yeah and I also took my beautiful nieces to see Bolt in 3D (a movie I wanted to see and was happy that I had them to enjoy it withΒ  πŸ™‚ – xoxo Denise

2009 – What will you make of it?

On December 31st I posted the last blog of the year and then headed out to celebrate the close of 2008 with my honey and two of my cousins. We partied the night away in a downtown night club and rang in the new year with hugs, kisses and “I love you’s”. I have been blessed with a very large and close family. Unfortunately, by 1:30 A.M. on January 1st, 2009, I was listening to news from my mom that a family member had passed away earlier in the evening. The first day of the new year was surreal, as my family and I struggled to wrap our brains around the fact that one of us was gone. I was in awe of the family and friends who gathered to support my Aunt and Uncle as they begin to face the painful loss of their son and slowly work towards the future. I know that my cousin will never be forgotten because we will always carry his loving memory with us. I feel that he has left us all with a reminder that we should never take one another for granted and that we should make the most of the life and love we’ve got. xoxo Denise
