The pretty poisonous plant that got me over a week ago seems to still be working its way through my body and yesterday I finally gave in an went to see the doctor. They gave me a shot in the ass and sent me home with two scripts to help me with the itchy scratchy. And, as funny as this is not, I’m doing my very best NOT to scratch and to keep my sense of humor. I have a big weekend ahead with the launch of “Adventures of Miss Fit” and the “Stan Lee Comic Con” this weekend! Wish me luck, send some love and stay tuned for some Miss Fit fun. Itchy and all!

Since hurricane Irma I have been spending time working on clearing down trees and getting “farm strong” as one of my friends would say. All in all I have been making good progress but this week I got introduced to some poison Ivy or poison Oak. The mark on my leg looks like a lip print but it is itchy as hell. Too bad I couldn’t get a kiss from the hot and sexy DC super villain Poison Ivy. That would have been hot!

How to Handle a Monkey Wrench

When life throws a monkey wrench your way, pick it up and use it to fix something you need and make it work for you. No matter what happens you have the power to respond in a way that works for you and helps you keep moving forward. I had a crazy family crisis this week but I’m happy to report that we are still moving forward and I hope you are too.
This March pin-up girl dates from 1953 and was painted by George Petty.

From 1933 to 1956, the “Petty Girl” was seen on tens of millions of calendars, magazine centrefolds, advertisements, posters, and billboards as well as on all sorts of specialty products. In 1950, “The Petty Girl” even became a major motion picture.

3.5 weeks after Hurricane Irma passed and things are starting to look better around here. We are still loaded with lots of construction debris, damage and home repairs that still need to be done. Our neighborhoods are loaded with fallen trees and limbs that haven’t been removed yet, but we are making major progress. What do you say we meet up on Tuesday for a live cam show?
