I’d heard about the movie “Waiting for Superman” for months and tonight I finally got to see it. I can honestly say that I was blown away by what I learned about the epic failures of the public educational system in our country. I’m not a parent but I am an aunt and a Godmother and I care deeply about our society and I believe that every child deserves a fighting chance for a good and productive life. This movie is important and a must see. And although I walked away upset, I was also inspired by the amazing work being done by some amazing super teachers who are working hard to take our kids from fail to pass. Have you seen it?
