This morning I surprised my friend and professional bodybuilding icon Albert Beckles at the gym with a small birthday cake. The poor man had to endure my singing and, I’m thinking that what he was wishing for when he blew out the candle was that I would stop singing. At 83 years young, on July 14, Albert is one of the people I enjoy seeing the most each morning, while visiting and training in Los Angeles. The king of the Bicep Peak is one hell of an athlete to this day and someone who inspires people around him more than he even knows or is willing to acknowledge because of his modest ways. It is an honor and a privilege to call him my friend.
