Workout for your body & mind!

I just love going to the gym to workout. Part of it is how training makes me feel, part of it is how training makes me look and part of it is how training helps me think. I am frequently so focused on my business and projects that I can easily get lost in my thoughts and in the day to day challenges that come with business and life. Going to the gym and working out is like going to church in a way. My workouts can be analogized as a religious experience in what they do for me. The gym is a place that I go to each day to improve my fitness, to maintain my health and to clear my mind and collect my thoughts.  In the right gym you are surrounded by people who are all there feeding off of each others positive energy.

    Denise,

I’d LOVE to worship your body.

And for me, that would be a religious experience!

I’ve just recently started working out again (don’t know why I ever stopped) and I’m starting to get that feeling back that you’ve described here. I actually read this post a couple days ago but had to comment after going for a run yesterday, the heart was pumping, the sweat was dripping, and the mind was alive and free, then this post just popped into my head and reminded me how much working out does help the mind as well as the body.

Woo Hoo, good for you XavierRS. Your post pleases me to no end. If I can be of any assistance in your ongoing motivation to workout, please let me know. Just think of all of the people you will no-doubt end up inspiring. xoxo Denise
